Sea Girls - 'This Is The End' — When The Horn Blows

Sea Girls are closing out the year and the ‘Open Up Your Head’ era with their latest single, ‘This Is The End’.

It has been a turbulent 2020 for everyone, but this four-piece have not only taken the likes of cancelled tours and delays in their stride, but pushed on through to put their debut album ‘Open Up Your Head’ out into the world to critical, commercial, and fan acclaim.

‘Open Up Your Head’ is a journey that has been three years in the making, with 29 releases in that time with the band refusing to take their foot off the gas even after the album has been out in the world. The ‘Open Up Your Head’ chapter stills remained open for the time being, with the band chomping at the bit to get out on their album tour, now planned for Autumn 2021 with a sold out show at London’s Brixton Academy still waiting to be conquered.

‘This Is The End’ is very literal in its meaning and brilliantly closes out a defining first era for this band, sitting on the slower, ballad-esque side of their catalogue, it has all the elements that you’d associate with a Sea Girls track. From the catchy chorus to the infectious guitars, ‘This Is The End’ seems like a perfect conclusion and also a bright spark for a new beginning of what will be an exciting future for Sea Girls.

‘This Is The End’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Sea Girls will begin their UK tour at Leicester’s O2 Academy on October 7th 2021.
