Belako - 'Tie Me Up'

The Spanish heavy hitters Belako are at their post-punk, DIY best with the latest single ‘Tie Me Up’.

Presiding from the little town of Muniga, this four-piece have managed to establish themselves well beyond their home country in a short amount of time and are set to English ears alight with their riotous and unforgiving heavy sound. Having already supported the likes of Liam Gallagher and secured spots at Benicassim, the quartet will look to cause ructions when they return to England for The Great Escape in Brighton in May.

Their expected lively set on the English coast should coincide with the expected release of their new album ‘Plastic Drama’, their first since signing to a major international record deal and ‘Tie Me Up’ gives a great understanding of what we can expect to see on their fourth LP, their most ambitious to date. Speaking on the new album, the quartet are searching for the “real meaning” in the world and the “harsh reality” that the current generation faces, these themes are evident throughout ‘Tie Me Up’ and it is a great introduction into one of the brightest prospects in world music.

‘Tie Me Up’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Belako will play The Great Escape Festival in Brighton in May.
