Calva Louise are once again keeping us on our toes as they blast into their new era with the new single ‘Camino’.

Calva Louise are best described as a free spirit, crossing paths from all corners of the globe in 2016 and have been inseparable since. Their free spirit has also transcended into their style of sound, from indie to frenzied punk with this sonic kaleidoscope garnering many plaudits including famed guitarist Albert Hammond Jr.

The live stage is becoming more like home for the trio, off the back of Roundhouse Rising on the personal invite of The Strokes guitarist, the three-piece will be supporting Highly Suspect across Europe and the UK in the next month as well some more festival and other support slots in the pipeline towards the end of the year.

Lead singer Jess Allanic is slowly becoming one of the most creative and talented minds of her generation, which shows in this new chapter for Calva Louise with one of their most electrifying and ambitious projects to date.

‘Camino’ is deep rooted in that punk sound that they’ve been known for, but elevated like never before. Despite its heavy sound and deeper meaning about “losing all the efforts of a lifetime”. Allanic but explains that it’s more positive than that and having the “willpower” to do it again. ‘Camino’ is the most raw and authentic we’ve seen this three-piece and will stand them in good stead for a very big year.

‘Camino’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Calva Louise will support Highly Suspect at Bristol’s SWX on March 16th.
