Glass Peaks - 'Never Really Left'

Glass Peaks tackle the toxicity of social media and its grip on society with their powerful new single ‘Never Really Left’.

Despite spending the majority of last year delved deep in their rehearsal space, this trio were still very busy, releasing four new singles which showcased the furthest reaches of their talents and influences as well as writing their highly anticipated EP ‘It’s Raining On The Wrong Side Of The Window’.

Their hard work building the foundations is already paying off this year having already sold out their headline show at London’s St Pancras Old Church and plans already in place to go one step further with their EP launch party at The Old Blue Last set to be a very special night in the capital.

The trio’s glowing reputation has come from the strength of their writing and ability to tackle hard-hitting subjects and politics in the heaviest way possible and ‘Never Really Left’ follows that same formula as the three-piece turn their crosshairs onto the state of social media.

Alfie Jefferies holds no punches in his vocals as he tackles the “false pretence” that has a chokehold on social media and looking at that through “different eyes” with obvious sarcastic undertones. ‘Never Really Left’ is intellectual in the way it tackles an issue we all face and a perfect showcase to the hard work that Glass Peaks have been putting in over the last year.

‘Never Really Left’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Glass Peaks will celebrate the release of their new EP at The Blue Last in London on May 1st.
