Hockey Dad - 'In This State'

Hockey Dad have brought some much-needed energy to proceedings ahead of their upcoming third LP with the new single ‘In This State’. 

This Australian duo and life-long friends have grown from a DIY outfit into one of the world’s biggest alternative bands, garnering fans the world over with the release of ‘Boronia’ and ‘Blend Inn’. 

The DIY outfit from Down Under have one of the most energetic sets out there, wowing fans at the end of 2019 and will hope that their appearance at the Live At Leeds Festival in November will be the perfect winter warmer. 

Zach Stephenson and Billy Fleming are already gearing up for their third LP ‘Brain Candy’, a celebration but perfectly encapsulates their growing maturity as reflection washes over the album. ‘In This State’, the third cut from ‘Brain Candy’, follows a “loser” that attempts to navigate a break-up which is perfectly narrated by the duo. 

‘In This State’ leaves you with very little time to breathe, filled to the brim with energy and will be the perfect opening to ‘Brain Candy’ which we can expect to be Hockey Dad’s biggest release to date.  

‘In This State’ is available now on all major streaming platforms and Hockey Dad will play Live At Leeds Festival on November 28th.
