Lady Bird - 'WWW'

Kent’s punk pioneers Lady Bird are shaking the rafters with their rampant new single ‘WWW.’.

This trio first found notoriety through fellow punk pioneers Slaves’ label, inspiring the minds of the masses with their no-nonsense rebellion in the form of their exhilarating dose of punk pulverisers. The three-piece have gone off on their own, with the anticipation high for their new EP ‘BRAINWASH MACHINE SETTING’ in June.

‘WWW.’ Perfect lays down the framework for Lady Bird’s attempt to strip back their rock sound, without losing the heaviness and melody that makes the three-piece so unique. This thunderous piece looks to tickle the “Queen bee’s feet” whilst sharing their observation of the hive around and how getting stuck in that “web” can be detrimental.

As expected, Lady Bird attempt to rip off the face of the listener with Don Bird’s distinctive tone making you feel every word spurted out. ‘WWW.’ is a banger for the murky times we found ourselves in and sets Lady Bird on the path to be one of the UK’s most influential punk acts.
