San Francisco based electropop project SUMif make sexual tensions run high in new single ‘Want Me’.
In its essence, ‘Want Me’ is bottled up desire. Sensual beats drift along magnetic melodies leading into a soaring chorus that reminds of The Weeknd in its raw intensity. Steph’s electrifying vocals complete the fantasy, speaking of an extremely passionate encounter in a way that combines animalistic attraction and warm intimacy: “No, I can’t get enough. Burn my lungs, give me love. Take me down with your touch, is it enough? Can you keep up?“
Talking about the single, SUMif explains: “This song is about experiencing feelings I never knew I had and feeling a passion and connection that had been missing my whole life.”
