key out - 'chorus'

Sydney indie outfit key out debut, ‘chorus’ the post-punk tinged first single taken from their upcoming album, ‘anthropomorphia’ due for release June 2020 via Half A Cow Records.

‘chorus’ sees key out pair angular post punk guitar with a bouncy 80s synth groove as they drive their listener into dark, dense and pleasantly suspenseful territory, finding relief in the dreamy atmospheric vocal melody that still feels the tremors of being trapped in an all-consuming relationship.

‘chorus’ is the thrilling first look into key out’s forthcoming home-recorded album, which looks set to be a banger of an album with the promise of more synthesisers, samplers and sequencers, but also more acoustic guitars and analog instruments.

‘anthropomorphia’ was mixed and mastered by Wayne Connolly (Amy Shark, Matt Corby) and will be released on Nic Dalton's (ex-Lemonheads) Half A Cow Records in June 2020.
