The Wha - 'Young Skins'
Ireland’s indie starlets The Wha are back again and further cement their alternative sound with the new single ‘Young Skins’.
The relationship between these four goes deeper than music, with Finn Cusack and Sam Cullen being childhood friends and going on to forge a musical partnership in their mid-teens to form the nucleus of what has become The Wha.
Now a four-piece, The Wha have suddenly become Ireland’s next indie prospect, lending itself to take inspiration some of music’s greatest acts and frontmen to create their own infectious sound. ‘Young Skins’ follows in the shadow of the huge hit that was ‘Blue For You’ that really cemented the hype that surrounds this quartet.
The Wha certainly take it up another level on ‘Young Skins’, once again collaborating with the legendary producer Stephen Street and he perfectly aids The Wha hone their definitive sound. The four-piece encapsulate their journey so far on ‘Young Skins’ and is another great time stamp in what we can expect to be a long and illustrious career for these Irish rock stars.
