Danny Addison – 'Joy'
The best kind of music is the one that renders speechless, the kind that makes you sit very very still because you don’t want to miss a single note. Manchester based singer songwriter Danny Addison has achieved just that with new single ‘Joy’.
‘Joy’ sounds like something out of a dream. Delicate and elegant, there is a distinct air of otherworldliness radiating off its swaying strings and suave soundscape. Danny’s gentle vocals fly high above, soaring weightlessly through fluffy clouds of poetic lyricism – “Be a man my boy, won’t you stay strong for me as the roots of the family tree.”
Following equally mesmerising debut single ‘Marigold’, ‘Joy’ cements Danny Addison’s unique brand of acoustic folk. Cinematic yet intimate, his sound is one of a kind and impossible to copy.
