Award-winning duo Ferris & Sylvester share blues-infused new single ‘I Should Be On A Train’ taken from their upcoming EP (October 2nd).

‘I Should Be On A Train’ starts soft and quiet. To a backdrop of gentle guitar lines, Issy’s warm vocals narrate the story of a woman planning her escape. That is until Archie joins the stage and the two burst into a roaring chorus. A heated argument fuelled by urgency and desperation - “I can’t bear your touch. You never change a thing, you let me down again. I should be on a train.” Flaming guitars and punchy percussions add to the building tension and create a disarmingly emotive atmosphere.

Talking about the track, Ferris & Sylvester say: “The world is adapting to a new reality, and we’ve been determined to adapt with it and get creative. It can be difficult in isolation to know how to move forward. People are lonely, overwhelmed and yearning to connect. We were busy writing for future projects, trying to map out the next chapters. But we decided it was more important to give what we can now. All we know is we are happiest when sharing our music and we hope this brings joy to people.”
