Written during a chaotic and turbulent year, ‘At Home’ presents eight honest, soulful tracks about love, loss and redemption.

The new album ‘At Home’ was written during the lockdown in Georgie’s home studio. The backdrop of a global pandemic frames the honesty of these songs and listening to them can provide a moment of respite during all the chaos that 2020 has to throw at us.

The first track of the album ‘Company’ reflects on the importance of friendship and sets up the effortlessly smooth vocals and instrumentals that ties each song together.

Some of the standout tracks are ‘Now We’re Lonely’ an introspective song about inner struggles that feels as though she’s confiding in us and ‘Rules We Broke’, which explores heartbreak beginning with a muted guitar strum that builds into a defiant electric riff.

“‘At home’ happened totally organically.” Georgie says, “when everything seemed to be spiralling out of control worldwide and even more so in my personal life I turned to what I know best, writing songs. Writing this album has been my most enjoyable creative time to date. I had no idea it was something that would become an album, I was writing these songs purely from the heart and because like everyone else I didn’t have much else to do.”

The songs are limited, nothing is there for the sake of it. Everything about this album feels necessary.
