Friedberg – 'Lizzy'

All female four-piece Friedberg announce the release of their highly anticipated debut EP ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah’ alongside trippy new single ‘Lizzy’.

A backdrop of fuzzy chords and insistent drums paints ‘Lizzy’ in a drowsy light. Frontwoman Anna’s intoxicating vocals are doused in clouds of hazy guitars and luminous synths that seep into the track’s infectious chorus and dress ‘Lizzy’ in a cloak of invincibility. Talking about the track, Anna explains "’Lizzy’ is a trip that I experienced at a night out in South London before Lockdown, where I found myself in the TS Eliot Poem ‘The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock’... And yes, Michelangelo was there too."

With their distinctive brand of sound that fuses feisty alt-rock with stunning pop sensibilities, Friedberg have long taken European stages by storm; debut EP ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah’ is set to solidify their UK takeover.
