Red Moon - 'Emotional'

Rising dream pop artists Red Moon (aka Norwegian singer-songwriter Joanna-Deborah Bussinger) shares mesmerising new single ‘Emotional’. 

Swept along by an upbeat undercurrent, ‘Emotional’ finds Red Moon reflecting on the sheer depth of her feelings. “This song is a confrontation between yourself and someone who throws you off balance; like when things escalate in a fight or when it seems like there is no way out of a specific moment. In hindsight, you know things could have been handled differently,” Joanna explains. “I’m still looking to find that “balance” of finding a safe place for communicating in the midst of a fight. Because in the heat of the moment our emotions cause us to misunderstand each other and ruin what we wanted to accomplish through our fight. It's accepting what I am feeling and still know it always takes two to want to solve a conflict.” Her serene vocals gracefully bend and stretch with the track’s motions as they shift from a swaying chorus into an angelic bridge and back again. 

Last year’s stunning debut EP ‘Phase I:XI’ put Red Moon on the map as an artist with an exceptional voice and an intoxicating sound, ‘Emotional’ sees her solidify this notion. As she enters her second phase with elegant sincerity, Red Moon remains a dream-like force to be reckoned with.
