Connie Constance - 'Till The World’s Awake'
She who dares to live and create in big and bold waves will catch our attention, which is exactly what Connie Constance did. With her new single she released a bouncing electro indie track and mesmerised at least one new fan!
The Watford-bord genre-blending songstress just announced the release of her new album while simultaneously giving us a teaser of what is bound to be let loose on us. ‘Till The World’s Awake’ is daring, it is a striking disco-inspired indie dance track that you simply have to bounce along to. Driven by her inartificial voice and a thumping beat, ‘Till The World’s Awake’ is telling and exciting from beginning till the end.
This single is a layered and shimmering one, fueled by bright guitar lines on top of driving basslines and powerful drums. Her vocals are softer on ‘Till The World’s Awake’ than on previous releases, they are delicate yet dynamic and help drive towards a thrilling and freeing chorus! The single is a life-affirming track that sees Connie Constance at her most confident, comfortable in her own skin and sound, while she sings “When we are young and when we get old / I want to feel like loving, feel like loving you”.
On the album that is due to follow on the 4th of November on Play It Again Sam she shows more of this joyful and dramatic, passionate and empowering sound. On her new album she excitedly unpicks heartbreak, her strained relationship with her father and struggles with mental health. In 2020 she returned with a determination and sound that showcases the way she sees the world without taking into account how the world sees her, nothing stands in the way of Connie Constance releasing hits and demanding the attention of her listeners, the media and the world!
