Papa Roach Ft Beartooth - 'Cut the Line'

Papa Roach announces ‘Ego Trip’ digital deluxe edition with the new single ‘Cut the Line’ featuring Beartooth which is already on 1.2 million streams.

The American rock band formed in 1993 formed with lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Tobin Esperance and drummer Tony Palermo. In 2020 they celebrated the 20th anniversary of the ‘Infest’ album. Throughout Papa Roach’s career they continue to have global success and even being two-time Grammy nominated, Platinum-selling leaders in ‘Alternative Hard Rock Music’.

Papa Roach recently celebrated the release of their 11th studio album ‘Ego Trip’ which sprouted almost by mistake in the global lockdown, it’s seeds were planted when the band entered a COVID-secure mansion throughout the summer of 2020. Even though it started as an escape and an exercise to keep the creative juices flowing when the world came to a halt. ‘Ego Trip’ became purposeful, provocative, and just the right side of the line between confident and cocky.

“Are you trapped up in your thoughts?”

Frontman Jacoby Shaddix stated that he hopes that the album title stops a few people in their tracks in Papa Roach’s boldest and most brilliant album yet. He continues that ‘Ego Trip’ was a journey for all members of Papa Roach, from them recording the album in 2020 to having #1 hit singles last year to adding one of their favourite bands Beartooth to the new single ‘Cut the Line’, all for the first time on their own label.

“Are you stumbling with your words? Sometimes it hurts.”

Papa Roach is currently on the second leg of their Rockzilla tour, in the USA which is stopping in 21 states. And in the next couple of months Papa Roach have a string of dates with Don Broco and Gavin Dance then to their Australian tour with The Used which is then followed by summer festival appearances in Europe from headlining in the ‘Festival Jardin du Michel’.
