HOTWAX - 'A Thousand Times'
HOTWAX release passionate new single ‘A Thousand Times’ ahead of their anticipated EP coming out on May 19th. They are exploding this summer with their upcoming performances at Sound City, The Great Escape and supporting The Strokes this summer at All Points East.
This highly anticipated EP and this single ‘A Thousand Times’ has blown us out the water with big bass riffs and soft vocals which fills us with musical nostalgia with a modern twist. Coming from their most recent single ‘Treasure’ which brought us fast-paced action we are now taken on a journey into ‘A Thousand Times’, a road map into who they are as a band and the sit-down-shut-up it's our time to speak momentum they give.
They lure us in with soft verses which then triumphantly take us into the knock-out chorus filled with rhythm and instrumentation, topped with a crescendo of vocal harmonies. It tells us the life of living as a modern woman - the uncertainty, anxiety and standing up for themselves.
HOTWAX throws their music genius at the listener with their youthful and exciting feeling of Wet Leg and the grunge guitar of Nirvana and Wolf Alice we really have something exciting and new here that no one can deny. With multiple live shows and festivals this summer of 2023, HOTWAX is one you do not want to miss with their next live show in St Albans on the 3rd of May.
