Ineffekt - 'The Light'
Clever and expansive: Rising DJ Ineffekt releases the brilliant single ‘The Light’.
The young DJ, at just 21 years of age, has already produced a great deal of brilliant music, and the latest single continues this strong vein of form.
Having already supported the likes of Avalon, Bicep and Mall Grab, it’s no wonder that the new single is as rich in quality as it is. The artist seems to have taken onboard tips and tricks from those around him and has added clever weapons to his arsenal.
‘The Light’ is a euphoric masterpiece that is sure to be a hit in clubs as well as at festivals and live shows. It’s a track that will have listeners lost in a feeling of ecstasy.
The robotic voice in the track is paired brilliantly with the driving drum rhythm that transforms the track into a certified head-bopper. All seems to be calm at the opening of the number, until a tinny drum switches the track, upping the pace around 45 seconds in. It’s sure to be a well-received part of the song when it’s performed live.
When speaking on the latest single, Ineffekt said: “For this record it wasn’t so much going in and making music with a purpose. It leaned much more on song writing and trying to find exciting rhythms that would catch the ear. The light is the perfect example of that process.” This couldn’t be more accurate: ‘The Light’ is undeniable in its expansiveness and a track that simply cannot be ignored.
With a run of tour dates ahead, Ineffekt is certain to impress crowds all over with his latest single. Listeners will be captivated by the track. It’s relentless from start to finish, with twists and turns which will send crowds into complete pandemonium. Ineffekt is so brilliantly unpredictable in his work, and ‘the Light’ is the perfect example of this.
Look out for the young DJ, who is most certainly just getting started.
