Tom Grennan - 'How Does It Feel'
Big hitter Tom Grennan provides yet another instant classic with the brilliant ‘How Does It Feel’.
Bedfordshire’s very own superstar has once again proved his talent, with the track becoming the latest in a lengthy list of huge tracks.
Grennan has absolutely smashed it out-the-park with this one. From the get-go he delivers a catchy yet meaningful number. It’s an up-beat track which bursts into sections where crowds will undoubtedly lose themselves in euphoria at shows.
There was a thought process behind moving to this style of track, with Grennan stating that ‘For this whole album, I’ve definitely made a conscious decision for it to be a record that people can just dance to. An album where people can listen in their own time, or fans can come to a show, and they can have that sense of escapism.’ He’s achieved the latter in abundance with ‘How Does It Feel’.
The track itself is something different from the earlier works of the star. He has demonstrated his versatility throughout his career: using a variety of instruments. Grennan opts for a more electronic sound in the latest track, and it shows off his talent perfectly.
The chorus-alone- of the new single is sure to make the song a hit. Its catchiness is undeniable. “It’s a long way back from sorry, but here I go. How does it feel? How does it feel?” Listeners will do well to keep this brilliant hook out of their heads.
The track precedes Grennan’s new record ‘What Ifs & Maybes’. If the rest of the tracks are as well executed as the latest single, the pop-star could well be on for even greater successes than he’s already experienced.
As the release of the album draws closer, fans will hope for yet another huge tour, and it seems pretty certain that Grennan would take ‘How Does It Feel’ out on the road with the rest of his new work.
