As December Falls - 'Little By Little'
Nottingham pop-punk band As December Falls releases their new uplifting single ‘Little by Little’ in the lead-up to their highly anticipated album ‘Join the Club’.
Formed in 2014, As December Falls achieved self-sufficiency early on as a matter of survival after being told they were ‘too this’ and ‘too that’ from the industry gatekeepers when looking to release their self-titled debut album in 2019, which has now reached 4 million streams to date. With their DIY attitude and business knowledge As December Falls have sold out 90% of their most recent headline tour around the UK and in their first European tour, they played sold out shows in Berlin, Kassel, Hamburg, Oberhausen and Prague. The band did not stop there as they even appeared at Slam Dunk Festival, 2000 Trees, Tramlines Festival and Camden Rocks.
The most recently released single ‘Little by Little’ joins As December Falls’ previous singles ‘Alive’, ‘Carousel’, ‘Home’ and ‘Mayday’ for their upcoming album ‘Join the Club’ which is set to release on the 21st of July. With the release of these singles, As December Falls has already peaked within the Top 5 on iTunes Alternative Rock Chart and has seen support from Spotify on the Pop Punk’s Not Dead, All New Punk, Shockwave, The Scene and The Punk List. Support for ‘Join the Club’ does not stop there with support from Youtube’s New Alt-Rock and radio support from BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, BBC Introducing Rock and Kerrang! Lead vocalist Bethany Hunter said that ‘Join the Club’ is a call to arms, As December Falls is tired of the music industry being fall of sharks and the world in general at the moment, as everywhere you look, it is falling apart. The album is a middle finger up to old ways and not sticking to the rules when you know there is a better way. As this album is set to be an important release for the band it may be their heaviest yet and is markedly more attitude-laden than their 2021 album ‘Happier’. ‘Little by Little’ is an uplifting pop-rock track about facing adversity and pushing through with the help of the people close to you. Bethany Hunter says that this is about one of her best friends that is suffering from bad mental health and is in a really dark place but “with the help of friends, managing to seek the help they needed and coming out on the other side."
As December Falls has a busy year ahead of them with the band appearing at Download, Settle Down and Make a Scene Festival before the final release of ‘Join the Club’.
