She took a moment to talk to us about how the EP came together.

Hey there Coupdekat - how are you? So your EP is out now - how does it feel to have it out there in the world?
I'm great thanks! It feels scary but also so so exciting. I've been waiting to bring it out for months and it's finally here!

It is called ‘FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY’ - what is the meaning behind that?
Where was it recorded? Any behind the scenes stories from the creative process you are happy to share with us?
*FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY is like a disclaimer of how i’ve been living my life post-lockdown. All the songs explore similar themes of adulthood, identity and having fun. Most were just written in my room on my guitar and computer and then I brought the tracks to my producer Dom and together we found the sound of the EP. We wanted the whole EP to sound super fun and energetic. The vocals for ‘its not you’ were literally recorded whilst i was trampolining on my bed!

What are the key themes and influences on the EP?
Growing up, identity, sexuality and heartbreak.

If the EP could be the soundtrack to any film - which one would it be and why?
Fallen Angels! Especially for STUNT GIRL I feel like that film is so fast-paced, nostalgic and visually aesthetic (especially the tunnel scene) and was HUGE inspiration for the music video also!

Do you have a favorite lyric on the EP - if so, which one and why?
‘Before you suck my blood, can you tell me that I’m pretty?’ I wrote this after watching Dracula. i’ve felt this too many times in past relationships where despite them draining me and ruining my life, i still yearn for their acceptance.

Now the EP is out there - what next?
World domination! …And new music of course!
