Hot Mulligan - 'Stickers of Brian’

Hot Mulligan trash the boardroom with beautiful raunchy chaos in the music video for their latest single, ‘Stickers of Brian’.

Comedy, sexuality and capitalistic dread embody Hot Mulligan’s recent post-emo single. The track juxtaposes its lyrics about the life-draining corporate lifestyle with the energetic Mulligan staple, curating an incredibly relevant, relatable and comedic anti-establishment anthem. Their music video portrays polyamorous smooching in the boardroom with bold, absurdist comedy. The utter pandemonium of Hot Mulligan’s video perfectly embodies the band’s identity and truly expresses the feeling of outlashing against society and kissing off mundanity.

‘Stickers of Brian’ was released on 21st March 2024 with accompanying acid wash cover art by artist and photographer Kay Dargen (Instagram profile here). The single marks the beginning of a new era for Hot Mulligan as this is the first release by the band since their hugely popular album ‘Why Would I Watch’, released spring of last year. Both the single and its music video have received an abundance of praise and love on social media over the past few days.

Hot Mulligan are currently in the heat of a US tour with Fall Out Boy and Jimmy Eats World and will commence their own US headline tour in April. Joining them on the ‘CHOOSE YOUR FIGHTOUR’ will be fellow emo icons Free Throw, Just Friends and Charmer. We hope to hear ‘Stickers of Brian’ live and in its full glory onstage this spring.

For those of us fans who are not based in the US, we’re thrilled to see a number of European shows confirmed already, with more hopefully on the horizon. Fans in the UK can catch Hot Mulligan at Outbreak Fest and 2000Trees Festival this summer.
