This new single follows an impressive 2024, during which Ruti captivated listeners with a series of stunning releases, including their celebrated EP ‘Lungs’. The project was a full-fledged musical experience, featuring not only the original EP but also a remix edition and an alternate version. These alternate takes featured instrumental, acapella, live harp, and live choir renditions of the title track, highlighting their inventive, boundary-pushing approach as an artist.
With the release of Maybe I Got It Wrong, Ruti embarks on an exciting new chapter, continuing to mesmerise listeners with their powerhouse ballad vocals and a distinctive sonic palette that blends classical, electronic, soulful, and pop influences.
