Lara Snow - 'Wild Sea'

Lara Snow unleashes a maelstrom of emotion on ‘Wild Sea’, the focus track taken from her debut EP, ‘Delete Forever’ which is out now!

Lara Snow rounded off March with the release of her beautiful debut five-track EP, ‘Delete Forever’. ‘Wild Sea’ is the focus track of the EP, and it’s a beautiful cut of moody electro pop with an uplifting avant pop edge. Through the track’s moody bass and weighty percussive textures shines Snow’s amiable vocal, intimate and impassioned on the lyric-led parts of the song, and ethereal and spiritual on the elegant vocal fillers.

On the ideas behind the track Snow explains,  “It is the story of a poisoned relationship and a great heartbreak. ‘Wild Sea’ was the first song I wrote for this EP and it kinda set the tone for what this EP was going to be. I remember when I finished writing it, that was the first time I knew what I wanted my music to be like.”

’Wild Sea’ makes up Lara Snow’s ‘Delete Forever’ EP alongside, ‘Swim Far’, ‘Butter Knife’ and the snappy and versatile jams, ‘Ghost’ and ‘Cruel World’. ‘Delete Forever’ is an EP that crawls with dark, suspenseful and turbulent textures. But there’s also poppy, upbeat vocal hooks and hopeful, shimmering synths that excitingly juxtaposes the melancholia in the songs. Through ‘Delete Forever’, Snow absorbs the negativity and toxicity of a past relationship, before finding a way to rise above it and take on a fresh perspective. An exemplary debut EP from an artist showcasing endless potential.
