Seafret - 'Remind Me to Forget You'
The latest single ‘Remind me to Forget You’ from the Indie-Rock Duo Seafret is a captivating tune about bitter pasts and broken relationships.
Seafret is a music duo consisting of singer Jack Sedman and guitarist Harry Draper, from Bridlington. Their debut studio album ‘Tell Me It's Real’ peaked at No. 59 on the UK Albums Chart. ‘Remind me to Forget You’ is a follow up to their BBC Radio 2 playlisted single ‘See, I'm Sorry’, both these tracks will be featured in their upcoming album Wonderland (which will be announced this mid April). It follows a huge year for Seafret, as in 2022 saw their single 'Atlantis', originally released back in 2015 become a TikTok viral hit clocking up over 1.7 million streams daily at its peak!.
Remembering the past may not always be happy, the memories still linger and to move forward is often hard. This feeling is perfectly captured in the lyrics and performed exceptionally by the singer Jack Sedman. The haunting background vocals and soft piano arps set the tone, leading us to the catchy chorus where the song comes to life and keeps building up till the end.
‘Remind me to Forget You’ is a song that one keeps coming back to regardless of the place or situation. It's catchy, addictive and will definitely be the one you add to your playlist after the first listen.
