The incredible Olivia Dean has just released her single ‘Dive’ after the announcement of her debut album ‘Messy’. The British Star has just announced the release date of ‘Messy’ which is set to release on the 30th of June this year.
Olivia Dean has already released two singles this year, with ‘Dive’ being the third release leading up to the debut of ‘Messy’. Olivia Dean has risen to success following songs such as ‘Be my own boyfriend’ as well as ‘Echo’.

After working on her upcoming debut album ‘Messy’ Olivia Dean has that “It's funny because I think it’s the most fine-tuned I've got my sound to be, but also the most carefree I've been in actually making music… some of it’s quite vulnerable but it was just made out of pure fun and joy and unbotheredness, and I think I’ve done a good job with calling it Messy because if anybody says it’s all over the place I’ll be like, yeah!”
Dean has been touring over the last couple of months, a tour that has sold out throughout the country and Europe. She has also supported the incredible Loyle Career and Korey Radical on their recent tours. Dean is continuing to tour with dates around Europe as well as the United Kingdom.
When Creating ‘Messy’ Dean has said “There’s no rules!” she laughs. “I tried to just expel people's voices from my mind about what I was supposed to make or what would be cool or what would be the most successful thing for me to make and made stuff that I want to listen to.”
Olivia Dean is an artist who keeps releasing hit after hit, so the anticipation for her debut album is high and the wait cannot end quickly enough. Dean has previously released three Eps. Olivia Dean loves her fans and even performed from the side of a yellow truck during the height of the pandemic, before performing at the Camden Jazz Cafe for her first gig back. Selling out the venue as well as received over seven million views on TikTok from her incredible performance at Camden's jazz cafe.
