With the state of UK these days, there’s not a lot to get excited about; when Slowthai announces a huge tour where tickets are only £5 there’s only one thing going through everyone’s minds “We Have To Go!!!”. 

There are some things that are almost impossible to put into words. RY X performing to a sold out Royal Albert Hall on a dark and drizzly Monday evening is one of those things. After taking to the stage of the iconic London venue with producer Frank Wiedemann for a performance of ‘Howling’ in 2018, Australian born Ry Cummings retrained to play his biggest UK headline show so far alongside the London Contemporary Orchestra. 

Riverside showcased Ten Tonnes and his band on Tuesday night as he returned to Newcastle again this year. This time to play his own show after a headline set at O2 Academy 2 as part of inner city music festival Hit The North back in May.

Returning with The Day You Departed Tour for his second Missouri show, a truly rare occurrence, Matt Maeson hit Rose Music Hall in Columbia with support from the Technicolors.

Indie rock quartet Sea Girls visited Manchester on Thursday night to play to a sold out, very energetic Academy 2. This comes after a string of incredible festival slots for the band this last summer, including Community Festival and Reading and Leeds. 

In support of their new album ‘Beautiful Oblivion’, Issues hit the road this month around the UK, along with the help of Lotus Eater. We caught their set when their played the Manchester Academy, our photographer Jesse Jones was there to capture all the action.
